Hungarian Scout Association in Slovakia
The Hungarian Scout Association in Slovakia is the largest Hungarian children’s and youth education organization in Slovakia. More than 1400 members are active in nearly 40 scouts communities in southern Slovakia, from Bratislava to Veľké Kapušany. Voluntary educational work with children and young people is carried out on a weekly basis.
Week after week, hundreds of children in the Scout troops are given the opportunity to grow through play in Hungarian. We work to create a supportive, loving and accepting environment and community with and among children.
In addition to weekly meetings, we organise regular larger programmes; and children have the opportunity to participate in national and international events.
